Follow Me On:

Versailles and a Chateau and Paris; Oh my!

A trip this May/June is turning out to be quite the event!  We are starting with a party in the Hall of Mirrors in 18th century costume with friends from Antewerp.  We also have gotten to know one of the curators at the Palace and are looking forward to a private after hours tour!

Then off to Southern France to stay in our friends Chateau.  First they said we weren't staying long enough and now they want my decorating advice; better bring the gold!

Next off to Paris where we will be meeting with our friend who has taken over the leadership of the Louis Vuitton flagship store on the Champs Elysee; looking forward to a private tour and also hoping to make it out to the LV Maison (very exclusive).  We've then are being hosted for the 30th anniversary of Diner en Blanc; can't wait to see the venue en Paris!

We end our trip in Belgium where we are meeting with a shoe designer to discuss my show design with 18th century images on it.

You know, no biggie :)!

Vignettes

So honoured to have been asked to be one of the celebrity judges for Vignettes; a celebration of fine design.  I will be reviewing 10 vignettes that teams of four people have created to determine who should win.

Derby Madness!

It was rather flattering to see my image literally everywhere for this year's Derby; jumbotron, Facebook, Website, billboards, elevator doors and even on a car.  So it was only fitting that Northlands hosted myself and 3 friends in a luxury suite and asked me to be a celebrity judge for the outfit competition!

A Peacocking Bowtie

How cool to have a bowtie designed in your honour and named after you!  Best part was she picked the fabric before even meeting me.  Now that's kismet and VIPness!

Veuve Clicquot 160th Anniversary

We were so honoured to have been part of the sixty people invited to the exclusive celebration of the 160th Anniversary of Veuve Clicquot's arrival in Canada.  Best part is that we were the only two invited from Western Canada.  The day started with a champagne breakfast in a chartered train car from the 1950's as we traveled from Montreal to Quebec City.  We were then greeted by a red carpet at the Chateau Fontenac for a champagne lunch.  The evening started with a champagne reception, followed by a recreation of the dinner served to Queen Elizabeth in 1956 with a Veuve Clicquot pairing.  Evening ended with a champagne party.  Very VIPness!

Yelloween

Had a blast as the guest of Veuve Clicquot in Montreal as we celebrated Halloween in the oldest restaurant in Canada; Auberge Saint-Antoine.  The theme was Dracula, so we decided to do Dracula Diva and there was a never ending stream of magnums of the Widow that night!

The Regency Ball

Was honoured to be hosted by Regency Encounters for the Regency Michaelmas Ball.  Fun to channel my inner Mr. Darcy!

Luxury Car VIP Party

Thrilled to have been asked to be the guest of Veuve Clicquot and Jet Set Crew for the Luxury Car VIP party held in Van Dusen gardens in Vancouver.

Celebrating The Widow!

So honoured to be included amoung the 60 influencers and VIP's from across Canada invited to be the guest of Veuve Clicquot for the 160 anniversary celebrations of the Maison starting in Montreal and then moving to Quebec City. The President of Veuve Clicquot is flying in from Paris and hopefully we can reconnect when we are back in Paris next year.  VIPness baby!
