Christmas in November at the Jasper Park Lodge

Darcy & I had the privilege of being one of the sponsors at Christmas in November at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.  It was great fun and our fashions were a big hit at all the parties!  Check out my show stopping cufflinks!

Event Consultant Testimonial

My partnership with Randall has been a delight! The Party starts when you meet him. From concept to completion, Randall’s expertise, creative artistry & genuine  ”joie de vivre” guaranteed a one-of-a-kind & a party of a life-time!

My outdoor, rustic elegance concept blossomed! Randall incorporated my ideas and designed a theme which transformed my husband’s surprise 65th birthday also into a celebration of his Canada 150 award & his passion for canoe building.  From the upside-down canoe bar to the elegant rustic dining table décor, left me awe struck and emotionally speechless.  Without Randall, I truly could not have envisioned a more spectacular outcome! My heart-felt thank you Randall!    DarleeAnn

The Canoe Doctor's Surprise Birthday Party

Had a great time planning this surprise birthday party for a gentlemen who was recently awarded the Canada 150 in 150 award celebrating those who are keeping Canada's heritage alive. He's known as the Canoe Doctor and restores vintage canoes, so of course that had to be theme of the party. I'm very pleased with how the table turned out and for the bar we are using the canoe that he sailed on July 1st for Canada's 150th. Even got him a canoe hat from Hudson's Bay to complete his outfit when he walks in the door. Plus you have to love a client that serves you Veuve Clicquot while you work!

Travel Concierge Testimonial

We love to travel & the fun is the planning.  Eight months of building our 28-day European Adventure included both cruising & land travel. We embrace not only the sites and culture of the countries we visited but our love of food & drink!  Prior to our departure, Travel Concierge, Randall was the perfect resource!  Insider tips on plane travel & specifics on must-sees were invaluable!   He believes that food and beverage are the extension & are just as important what sites should be seen.  He graciously provided names one-of-a-kind restaurants in Venice & Paris that were a feast for the palate and a dining atmosphere beyond words!  Without question, Randall will be part of planning our next holiday!  Thank you Randall!  Cheers!  DarleeAnn

Do it with Style!

I had a great time styling Jordan S and appreciate this fabulous testimonial!

"Working with Randall is an experience in its own! At first I wasn't sure what to expect. I was well aware of how put together Randall's wardrobe was but could he do it to mine? Within the first 10 minutes of shopping with him my apprehensions were set aside. Not only is Randall fun to shop with but also quite informative! He asked my opinion, provided suggestions, and presented ample wardrobe options. I very much enjoyed working with Randall and look forward to doing it again!"

If you need some style help, let me know, I would love to work with you!

Wigs and brocade and frippery; oh my!

I had a blast working on the set of "Caution: May Contain Nuts" in a ball scene where I got to done one of my many 18th century outfits; though I think my outfit may have been hired more than me.  I was then contacted to work on a Venetian themed birthday party and have now been hired to help plan a New Year's Eve Gala that's a what?  Venetian Masked Ball.  I beginning to sense a theme and can't say that I mind.  I love being able to bring a touch of Venice and my favourite celebration back to Edmonton.  Who knew I'd get so much wear out of my powder wigs here!

Don't do the high school shuffle!

Getting married and don't want to do the HS Shuffle??  Well I can help you with feeling comfortable with the song that you have chosen.  Not a choreographed number, but steps to make you look more like Fred & Ginger than Duckie & Andie.

Oysters and Caviar and Dom! Oh My!

So thrilled to have been hired to plan this luxury event.  It's so great getting to work with clients who appreciate luxury and quality!

Wedding Season - can you dance!?

Wedding season is fast approaching and so is that first dance; are you ready?  Lord knows you don't want to do the High School Shuffle so how about some dance lessons.  Once you have your song picked I can give you some lessons so you look comfortable on the floor and it's an enjoyable experience for everyone.

A Bat Mitzvah Testimonial

For our twin daughters Bat Mitzvah I had a dream, which Randall helped to deliver.

The event was spectacularly executed with many detailed aspects.  Randall was professional, punctual, honest and he has many contacts that helped us to make things possble.  For example, we ordered an iced candelabra sculpture Menorah; he helped us to find a person to build a sled; he brought in dancers dressed in horse costumes and pulled the girls into the room riding in the sled.

He has amazing taste and a great eye for decor.  Easy going and very pleasant.

Simons Fashion Event

Just learned that Simons wants to hire me again to plan another fashion event for them on November 29th.  Of course this time of year is INSANE for me, but who could say no to my favourite store!

The Marie Antoinette Collection of chocolates

A Bat Mitzvah!

So excited to have been hired to plan my first Bat Mitzvah!  And not just for one girl, but twins!  Oy!!!

Let me teach you.

All those years of watching old movie musicals with Mom paid off as it gave me the basis and love for ballroom dancing.  Such a thrill now to be hired by couples getting married to teach them their first dance.  Love this testimonial I just got!

Randall was an absolute blessing when it came to our wedding dance. Both my husband and I have never been dancers, but saw it as a personal goal to be able to dance with style and class on our wedding night. Randall helped us achieve this goal! Over several sessions he provided Aaron and I with tailored ballroom dance lessons in the comfort of our own home. He was patient, extremely experienced and - most of all - incredibly charming and fun-filled. I could not recommend Randall enough... I am so proud of our wedding dance and the opportunity to surprise our family and friends, and it's all thanks to Randall!

Tiny Plastic Men

So honoured to have had my character from Season 2 of this award nominated comedy series written into Season 3.  Had fun filming and can't wait to see where his journey takes him in future seasons!

Are you every hosts nightmare?

I'm not sure when it happened, but people have become so fussy when eating that it makes planning a fabulous dinner party challenging. I say the guest has as much obligation to make their host feel comfortable by eating what is put in front of them, especially if it's amazing, as a host does to make the guest comfortable. If it's just a food choice, and it's not going to literally kill you, just eat it!

See what else I have to say in this article on entertaining.

I was approached by a client to plan a party for 60 guests for his wife's birthday but with only a month to do it! Happy to report that I was able to put together a fabulous Venetian themed evening with masks, Bellini's, Venice backdrop and an opera singer.  The client was happy and said “You’d have to be insane not to let Randall help plan your next event.”
